New Time & Attendance Software Release Kelio V4.2 for Homeworking
Bodet is proud to announce the latest release of its Kelio Time & Attendance Software with new features focused on making managing staff working at home more effective
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, more organisations than ever have staff working at home either full or part time. Our latest Time & Attendance Software, Kelio V4.2, is designed to make it as easy as possible to manage homeworking employees effectively, whilst maintaining workforce visibility.
This is primarily achieved by allocating employees as home workers. Not only does this increase visibility for any shifts where staff are working at home, it also allows an additional layer of control.
Kelio V4.2 allows the easy management of multiple types of homeworking:
- Regular homeworking (eg. Monday/Tuesday every week)
- Distributed homeworking (eg. five days a month can be spent working at home)
- Occasional homeworking (eg. an incidental day such as a rail strike)
Any schedules where staff members are working at home are clearly highlighted by a specific icon. For staff planning, a filter allows you to display remote working periods, and reports can be customised so you see remote workers or pending requests to work at home.
With Kelio V4.2, employees now have the ability to request homeworking, through the Kelio portal or calendar. Managers will then receive that request for authorisation in the portal, and an email alert is sent to the employee when actioned. Through the Kelio calendar, employees can modify their regular remote working days, in addition to viewing requests which are approved and pending validation. Through the grouped absence calendar, employees can now clearly differentiate between colleagues who are absent, and those working at home.
Administrators not only benefit from full visibility of the number of days and hours which have been worked remotely, but can also ensure the rules for homeworking in Kelio align directly with those of their organisation. This includes creating notice periods for requesting homeworking, setting a maximum number of remote working days during a set period, and having specific days which cannot be allotted to home working (such as a certain day of the week).
