The State of Health Care and Adult Social Care in England 2017-18 Report from the Care Quality Commission examines trends and shares examples of good and outstanding care. One of the focuses is the use of innovation and technology.
The CQC annual report discusses the various benefits of harnessing new technology across a range of applications. It states “Technology is playing an increasingly important role in improving outcomes for people who need care, and often we see how it is helping providers to be more joined up in the way they work.”
